Sweet Home High School Meet October 2011, Amherst, New York Coaches Corner: The A.C. Vikings took a trip down to Amherst in Buffalo to participate in the SHQA swim meet. Seven (7) A.C. Vicking's swimmers attended this amazing meet. Our swimmers participated in the morning as well as the afternoon sessions. A great time was had by the swimmers, the parents as well as myself. I have to say that I am VERY proud of the kids. They repeatedly demonstrated how much they have improved over the past 3 months with our new club. We had 31 swims matches with the kids. Out of 31 swims we received 22 ribbons. This means that our swimmers placed in first, second or third place 22 times. HOW AMAZING. I believe that the kids will continue to improve over the season and WHEN we receive our affiliated with Swim Ontario we will be a force to be reckoned with. The A.C. Vikings have a great future ahead of them and will do amazing things in the coming years. Thank you all for making our first ever swim meet so successful. Coach G
